CLOER of Germany, a family business with rich tradition for over 100 years, specializes in high-quality small electrical appliances based on innovative ideas with focus on optimal functionality, ergonomics, unique and timeless design, and intelligent features. Today the CLOER Company is managed by the founder’s great grandson, Achim Cloer. 

CLOER was founded in 1898 by Caspar Cloer with the development of irons and waffle makers and has been managed in family ownership since then.  Although irons have now been phased out, CLOER has developed into one of the leading brands for small electrical appliances in the world and has been able to establish and steadily extend its market leadership in Europe with waffle makers on the basis of innovative product improvements. 

CLOER has experienced double-digit growth rates in Germany and in exports on the basis of their designs and product performance.  They have recently expanded their markets into Japan, Russia and Australia and North America with great success.   This is also reflected in the expansion of the company’s plant in Arnsberg/Sauerland.

Today, their waffle makers  represent one of the three fields of competence that Cloer covers with its products.  The second field of competence includes additional products associated with breakfast such as tea-makers, filter coffee makers, electric kettles, a special bread roll baker, toasters and juice extractors.  The third area of competence, includes a recently introduced  complete range for fun cooking which includes their innovative table barbecue grills. 

Kitchen Resource began distribution with an elite selection of CLOER’s impressive and extensive product line.  The products ready for the American market include a double heart pizzelle/waffle maker, bread roll baker, several toasters, an eye catching LED lit electric water kettle, coffee maker, barbecue grill, the Panini/contact grill and two of the companies timeless Mona Series items, (the stainless steel ergo classic electric kettle and stainless steel coffee percolator).
