  Tips For Using Your Bosch Slicer/Shredder

Always shred cheese before freezing.  Frozen bricks of cheese will go crumbly.
Instead of dicing use French fry blade to cut vegetables for soup.  
Use French fry disk to shred lettuce for tacos. 
Bricks of cheese can easily be shredded in the Bosch slicer shredder.  It is more economical and cheese will be free from mold inhibitors, cellulose and other ingredients that are contained in prepackaged shredded cheese 
Use the slicer shredder attachment to easily shred cabbage for coleslaw.  If you like  coleslaw with short pieces use coarse shredding blade.  If you like coleslaw with long slim pieces use slicing blade. 
To quickly and perfectly chop nuts such as walnuts, pecans, macadamia nuts, etc. for cookies, candies and cakes use French fry blade in slicer shredder.
