The Bosch Universal Plus mixer has a sleek, new, unique shape and more powerful motor plus many more new features make this machine worth waiting for. We are impressed with the easy way it fits together as well as its smart new look. Any job like making bread, or whipping cream, or any other task you need in the kitchen, is completed quickly and easily with this wonderful new Bosch Universal Plus. It still makes 4 loaves of 100% whole wheat bread and will whip anything from an egg white to a gallon of icing. The rim around the edge of the bowl, I like to call it a cuff, makes it easy to pick the bowl up, even with one hand. The bowl locks onto the base with a lock on the action and the suction cups on the bottom of the base, make it very stable when mixing/kneading small or really large quantities. The clean-up is easy too! You can put the bowl in the dishwasher and the inside steel shaft of the bowl locks on and off, to clean inside the bowl at the same time. Bosch has sold this series of mixers since 1950 and its quality is renowned. They have a much higher than an average lifetime for mixers in this class and a very high customer satisfaction rating. All Bosch Universal or older MUM3 attachments will fit on this new Bosch Universal Plus.

The Universal Plus has a Stronger Transmission: The transmission is what converts the power of the motor into the work that the machine can do. Many of our competitor's machines with overhead arms that raise and lower into the bowls, have transmissions that are definitely inferior to both the design and quality of the Bosch Universal Plus, especially when used under stress, such as a large batch of cookie dough or more than one loaf of heavy bread dough. The spur gears in these other transmissions, break under load and customers have told us that even their brand new units have failed, and cannot handle the quantities that a Bosch Kitchen Mixer can. I had ordered the Bosch Universal Kitchen Machine with the food shredder attachment and cookie paddles at your Christmas special of $--- plus shipping. It was around December 10; I live in Calgary and you shipped it out in the speediest way I could imagine.
I have to tell you, this is the finest, most incredible piece of machinery ever. Where has this BEEN all my life?? I have made double batches of borscht, which has a recipe which literally takes 3+ hours of hand-shredding things like beets, carrots, cabbage, etc -- with your machine, after peeling and prep of the veggies (15 minutes tops), the shredding takes literally 5 minutes or less. Massive amounts of bread are ready in no time. Cheesecake was mixed in 3 minutes, cream was whipped in a minute. UNBELIEVABLE!!

I just purchased the Universal Plus Mixer and I absolutely love it. I’ve had a Kitchen Aid for many years. The BOSCH delivers hands down! It is amazing for mixing breads. I’ve tried so many different types. Easy peasy! Wished I would have had this machine years ago. 😀 -

I was so excited to receive my Bosch Universal Plus with bakers attachments. It did not take long to unpack, wash and be put to use. The 800 watts of power is apparent as this unit whipped up a large batch of cookie dough (the bowl is huge!) with ease. The scraper attachments were a blessing as they eliminate the need of scraping the sides with a spatula. Whip up cookie frosting with the same attachments and let yourself be carried away by adding color that does not stain the bowl. Very easy cleanup; I cannot express enough how much you will appreciate having the motor UNDER the bowl. Once you discover the freedom of this feature which allows you to add ingredients easily; you will put your old unit back in the cupboard. This unit is all about efficiency, ease of use and power.
Bonus: included is a booklet of recipes for you to try. So tomorrow is bread dough day! Yes, this unit is powerful enough even for that!

Oh how I joy using my Bosch for bread making. I tried the cookie paddles for gingerbread cookies, and they work like a dream.
My sons love the blender for pina colodas. The whisks do a wonderful job of making whipped cream. The grain grinding attachment does a wonderful job grinding wheat into fresh flour for my breads. You could say that a I really Love my Bosch. -

I decided to purchase this machine after looking at it and comparing it with other brands for few years.
The machine works amazing !!! I did not have issue making bread dough (even with small batch), didn't have issue making Italian meringue buttercream (which requires high temperature sugar liquid). The machine is powerful enough to handle heavy mixed.
I have no regret of purchasing the machine. The machine's initial cleaning was easy, I did not have issue making food with it after the initial cleaning, and there were no stains from the machine transfer on to the food.
The customer service were great! They responded fast, and full of knowledge about baking as well, they seriously knows their products.
I'd received my shipping within two days, wrapped nicely and safely, the package wasn't damaged or anything.
I will definitely recommend this product and website to friends and family, it was a great experience from the customer service and great early Christmas gift.
