Introducing the Home Bakery Supreme and the Brand New Virtuosa Plus Home Bakery by Zojirushi
Here in Canada, nothing can top the smell of fresh-baked whole grain bread on a cold day. The Zojirushi Home Bakery lets us make this happen in less than 2 hours on the quick cycle
The Zojirushi Virtuoso Plus BB-PDC20 makes a beautiful 2 lb 100% whole wheat horizontal bread loaf that will perfect every time. If you have family allergies to Gluten, this wonderful new model of the Zojirushi bread machines will automatically do gluten-free cycles as well. The Home Bakery Virtuoso Plus ® Breadmaker bakes a traditional-shaped 2-lb. loaf of bread automatically. Handles have been added to the baking pan in order to easily remove the pan from the machine when baking is done. We think the best new feature is the additional heater on the lid which ensures thorough kneading and even baking over the top of the loaf. The dual action kneading blades ensure that all your doughs get kneaded thoroughly giving you a good gluten development, stretching the dough properly, even with 100% whole grain bread. The new gluten-free menu setting makes it easy to bake gluten-free bread. Make jams, cakes, and even meatloaf using the additional automatic settings. LCD clock with 13-hour delay timer.

The Zojirushi Home Bakery Supreme - This model will bake a large traditional rectangle loaf that includes Whole Wheat Bread and a menu that will let you select other cooking needs like cake, dough, sourdough, jams, and even meatloaf as well. It doesn't have as many bells and whistles as its Virtuoso Plus brother but still has that best feature in our opinion, that ability to program your own cycles that it will remember for the next use.
Both the Zojirushi Home Bakery Supreme BB-CEC20 and Virtuosa Plus BB-PDC20 make a light 100% whole wheat loaf or a delightful white bread from start to finish, in a traditionally shaped, 2 pound, horizontal loaf! And that's just the start of it. The Zojirushi does an outstanding job of developing gluten and you can use the dough cycle by itself if you want, then finish baking in your regular oven... make dough for crisp pizza crust, light dinner rolls, mouth-watering cinnamon rolls, hamburger or hoagie buns, artisan bread, sourdough, cakes — the possibilities are endless. Don't want quite 2 lbs? The Zo gives you the freedom to make smaller 1.5 lb. loaves if you'd rather. Even makes fruit jam and meatloaf. Included is a free quick-start video to get you off on the right foot!
How to Use a Zojirushi Home Bakery Supreme Bread Maker
Stronger than ever: Both the Zojirushi Home Bakery Supreme and Virtuosa Plus models have beefed-up pulleys and belts — the heaviest-duty drive system ever on a Zojirushi breadmaker, for a long, trouble-free life. Unlike most bread machines, the Zo has plenty of power and durability for whole grain dough. Of course, it's equally at home with white flour, or any blend you can imagine. Twin paddles provide superior kneading action so you get well-raised bread with great texture (in fact, the CEC20 and Virtuosa use the very same pan as the multi-award-winning V20 model that it supersedes... Zojirushi was smart enough not to mess with what was already perfect.) The CEC20 also inherited the highly domed interior of its predecessor to keep your bread from sticking to the lid if your recipe rises a little high, and has crust-control adjustability. Pan inside dimensions are 5"W x 8.75L x 4.75"D.
Well mannered: Even though it's stronger than ever, the new models are also Zojirushi's quietest breadmakers ever.
You can blink now: Zojirushi has added a 10-minute "power interruption memory" into the bread machines, so your bread won't be ruined if your power blinks off.
Easy to use: Just pour ingredients into the Zojirushi automatic bread machine (unmixed!) and select settings (comes with an easy-to-follow manual.) The Zojirushi takes it from there and alerts you when your bread is ready. A beep will remind you when to add mid-cycle ingredients if your recipe calls for some. The control panel is set at the perfect angle for easy viewing, and the Zo's new, bigger-than-ever window lets you see what's happening inside. This new model lets you open the lid during operation without resetting the cycle (it keeps running with the lid open.) Comes with a full set of preprogrammed cycles for a variety of bread, or you can easily create your own custom cycles. Both the new Virtuosa and the CEC20 models now remember three of your favorite custom recipes for one-touch programming. This great new Zojirushi bread maker can be programmed for the delayed start (up to 13 hours ahead) so you wake up in the morning to the wonderful aroma of fresh bread for breakfast. Timer works for all bread cycles except Quick and Sourdough cycles.
You'll love it! The Zo lets you have fresh, delicious, healthful bread in the kitchen all the time!
