The Versatile Healthy Lemon

I love the taste of lemons.  The acid tanginess of the lemon especially when paired with something sweet really sets my taste buds tingling.  They are really versatile as they can be used with fish, or in drinks or as part of some great desserts.  I especially like a tangy hummus with lots of lemon juice.   And they are inexpensive and plentiful- but one of the best things about lemons is that they have some awesome health benefits.  As part of my New Year's Resolutions, I wanted to find heathier solutions using natural product and I ran across this great post that lauded the benefits of using lemons.  To me it's a Win Win solution!
